LALA PEEL
The Lala peel treatment is one of your go-to monthly cosmetic treatments for managing persistent acne and acne scars. It is one of the finest chemical peeling treatments since it does not thin or harm the skin. Instead, it fills them up and acts as a temporary substitute. Unlike other harsh components found in chemical peels that may cause more damage than good, the Lala peel treatment is gentler and both water-soluble and fat-soluble, which means it is gently absorbed and assimilated into the skin once it penetrates. It also helps with irritation since it restores the lipids that have been depleted and serves as a substitute till the skin state returns to normal.
Lala peel or Lhala peel comprises LHA or Lipohydroxy Acid, thus the name. Lipohydroxy Acid (LHA) is a salicylic acid (BHA) derivative, also known as capryloyl salicylic acid. It is an important component in skincare products that can help you obtain the flawless Korean Glass skin. Many skincare products, specifically toners, spot treatments, creams, and cleansers, contain it. However, Lipohydroxy Acid (LHA) differs somewhat from salicylic acid, despite the fact that both are known to provide chemical exfoliation. Both substances are lipophilic or dissolvable in oils, fats, and lipids, but LHA is more lipophilic, which makes it gentler because it has a slower chemical activity once it comes into contact with the skin. In other words, LHA is derived from salicylic acid, but FDA regards Lipohydroxy Acid (LHA) as a gentler and milder variant. Unlike other acids used in chemical peels, the Lipohydroxy Acid (LHA) in the Lala Peel treatment has a pH level that is comparable with normal skin: 5.5. As a result, the Lala Peel treatment is appropriate for all types of skin and tones. It is also a treatment that is strongly recommended for people who have oily, acne-prone, sensitive, or photoaged skin. In addition, you may use it as maintenance to keep your skin fresh and well-taken care of, but please consult this with our doctor first to ensure your safety.
You may do this at least three to five times spaced one to two weeks apart or depending on the doctor’s recommendation, or if you’d like, you may do it on a monthly basis for optimum results. Some of the procedures you may combine with the Lala peel are G-wave, LDM, V-Ro lifting, and the Acne treatment package. You must note that all facial treatments at the clinic will require you to have a face-to-face consultation with our board-certified doctors beforehand.
The treatment is most recommended for individuals who have mild to severe acne and acne scars, skin laxity concerns, and excess sebum production since it assists in improving skin elasticity, barrier, and texture while also reducing sebum production and secretion.
