Non-surgical Facelift

By using Shurink, Ulthera or a combination of treatments, you can lift and tighten your face as well as increase collagen production. This is as close to a non-surgical facelift and necklift as you can get. The only other alternative to this is going under the knife and getting a facelift with a plastic surgeon or a threadlift (which is still a surgical procedure).  Shurink or Ulthera or a combination of both (Ultratherapy) is used by Dr. Suh at Amoa Skin Clinic to lift the neck area and tighten the double chin look. This will tighten your face and improve the double chin as much as possible without the need for liposuction.

You will undergo facial cleansing, facial preparation and numbing cream will be applied. At Amoa Skin Clinic, a mild sedation solution is inject through an IV to relieve pain (most clinics don’t do this because they lack the equipment and training but without this the procedure is painful).  A specialized conducive gel is applied over your face and neck and the main treatment begins. Ultrasonic electrical impulses are shot into your skin which causes lifting, tightening and the production of collagen is giving a boost.  You will feel your skin tightening as the procedure is happening.  A vitamin cream is applied afterwards and a healing light is placed over the area worked on. A mask may also be placed depending on the package chosen. A final cleaning and creams are applied.

The effects are immediate and your skin continues to improve over the next several months because of the increase in collagen production. Although this is as much lift in your as you can get without surgery, don’t expect this to be similar to a surgical facelift. If you are looking for a dramatic change all at once, then you should choose the surgical option. The effects are permanent but as you age, your skin will naturally start to loosen and sag (this happens even with surgical facelifts). So how can you maintain the results?

You should do this treatment once a year and go to regular monthly dermatology visits. Most Korean women and a lot of men make visiting their dermatologist a part of their life. This is one reason why Korean people’s skin is considered some of the best on earth. Skincare in Korea is a priority and it shows. One added benefit from starting these procedures early is that those who do these treatments over their 20’s and 30’s usually don’t require surgical facelifts in their 40’s and 50’s. You can hold back the hands of time longer. Even one treatment every 2 or 3 years will help dramatically over the course of your life.
